Good call Jo! Asian dishes definitely aren’t for everyone, especially if you’re watching your salt intake. While your recipe doesn’t call for MSG, I wonder if people in North America realize it’s a key ingredient in most of their takeout Asian dishes. Either way, I loved the dish! Thank you Jo!

In reply to Megan. Usually Asian dishes are salty but this is why I always say to use low sodium soy sauce.

This dish had a nice flavour but was extremely salty. Such a shame because it smelt and tasted delish but then the salt hits you and no I didn’t add salt.
