Yes, baking will help crisp up the skin while letting the sauce thicken beautifully. Just don’t forget to spoon some sauce over the chicken before serving!

Either works! You can simmer it on the stove with a lid until the chicken is cooked through, or transfer everything to an oven-safe dish and bake at 375°F (190°C) for about 20 minutes.
